Jana Rose is a singer, pianist, guitarist, and bandleader playing a range of performance styles from intimate solo acoustic sets to full-band music. She performs a wide repertoire of genres (blues, jazz, folk, r&b, rock, pop, and funk), decades (1920s–now), and languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Turkish, Italian, and German).

About Jana

Jana Rose began her music journey on the piano with private lessons at age 5, and at age 12 she began teaching herself acoustic and electric guitar. From a young age she has been tapped to play graduation ceremonies, private parties, community events, church worship services, duos, and even on the Istanbul ferry boat in Turkey. Jana's singing abilities complement her playing and are wrought from a deep love of acoustic music and close attention to techniques found in blues, jazz, folk, and world music traditions.

Jana has been leading bands with vocals and guitar/piano for 11 years. She finds it nearly impossible to say "no" to karaoke engagements.

Jana was raised in Georgia and is originally from China. She currently resides in Atlanta and spends her spare time attending local social dances, creating visual art, designing graphics, studying foreign languages, writing poetry, and reading too many books at a time.
